Leading North West based accountancy and business advisor Cowgill Holloway has announced its joint venture bridging business PMJ Capital Ltd has reached the milestone of delivering 100 deals with a total combined value of £40million.

PMJ Capital was launched in 2015 by Cowgill Holloway’s Property and Construction division and focuses on building relationships with the division’s existing contacts and those of its joint venture partners.  The experienced team is headed by Cowgill Holloway property finance director David Rainford.

Recent deals include:

Low Wood Casterton, Nr Kirby Longsdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

PMJ Capital has provided Waypoint Development and Construction with £1.8million in total to assist with the acquisition of the former Casterton School buildings and subsequent conversion of the buildings into 20 new homes – a mix of houses and apartments.

Tony Stubbs, managing director, Waypoint Development and Construction said: “The facility, provided by PMJ Capital will enable us to deliver the conversion of the wonderful school buildings into much needed new homes in Casterton.  Working with David at PMJ Capital has been refreshing, his expert knowledge and experience has been invaluable throughout the process and most importantly he is able to make decisions quickly and respond accordingly.”

Bradbury House, Altrincham

PMJ Capital provided £430K to Quinta Group to support the conversion of commercial premises at Bradbury House, in the centre of Altrincham in to five apartments and ground floor retail space.  The £1.1 million sale of development to Edinburgh based Lomond Investment Management completed last week (Thursday 10 May).

Alexander Clarke, director, Quinta Group said: “I’ve known David for a number of years and have always found his advice insightful. Gaining the loan for Bradbury House by working with him directly was a great deal more straightforward than working with other lenders and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome.”

David Rainford added:  “The work we do through PMJ Capital complements our offering alongside the property and construction division at Cowgill Holloway.

“As a principal lender, our clients value speaking to a decision maker, it provides them with comfort in the knowledge that funding is available, will be delivered quickly, without fuss and in a professional and pragmatic way.”
