Two wins for OBI at Insider Awards

OBI Property won two awards at the North West Insider Property Awards held on Thursday 12 May.

Co-founder Will Lewis won the ‘North West Property Dealmaker of the Year’. With just two people shortlisted the judges said Will was a worthy winner. “He’s passionate, knows his clients, has fantastic contacts and has created a formidable brand.”

Will has completed a string of high profile deals during 2015 including; a 50,000 sq ft pre-let to PwC at No.1 Spinningfields, the leasing and investment sale of 35 Fountain Street and the leasehold acquisition of 60,000 sq ft of workspace in the XYZ Building on behalf of NCC Group.

Will Lewis said: “We are delighted to have won both of these awards and it was especially satisfying to have our Building and Workplace Consultancy teams recognised with the professional services award.

OBI also won ‘Professional Services Award, with the judges commenting: “It was only when we read the entry that we realised that OBI Property is so such more than an agency. Their consultancy business is a worthy winner.”

OBI’s business is built around providing clients with a multi-disciplinary service from interior design, project management, dilapidations, rating, leasing and investment consultancy. This “OBI Difference” has seen them continue to build the business through 2015 and having launched their new office at the start of this year they expect 2016 to be even more successful.
