9.56 acre Poulton-le-Fylde site brought to market
The Strategic Land Group has announced a 9.6 acre site, just 1.5km from Poulton-le-Fylde town centre, just south of Brockholes Crescent, is being marketed for sale with outline planning permission for 108 homes, 30% of which will be affordable housing.
Armistead Barnett the agents acting on behalf of the land owner and The Strategic Land Group have set a guide price for the land in excess of £4 million.
Wyre Borough Council planning committee approved the application in June and there will be a contribution made schools and highway improvements as part development.
Paul Smith, managing director, the Strategic Land Group said: “The site provides an excellent opportunity to deliver much needed new homes in the Wyre area, in a location that the council accept is strategically important.
“Being able to market the site with planning permission means we are able to get the best deal for our client, the landowner, and give the purchaser of the site a head start on being able to bring the development forward quickly.
“Everyone is well aware there are nowhere near enough new homes being built. It is important councils plan to build the right number of homes to help support existing communities and to support economic growth.”
The Strategic Land Group has received planning advice from Euan Kellie Property Solutions and Turley on the project.
