Cowgill Holloway has announced its property and construction team has been appointed to provide its full accountancy and financial advisory services to Blackpool headquartered The Create Group.

The Create Group employs in excess of 75 people and has an annual turnover of approximately £60 million.

The appointment comes on the back of the recent funding deal Cowgill Holloway negotiated for Create Developments to enable the delivery of its new £14.2 million housing development St Petersfield at Inskip in Preston.

St Petersfield is the second phase of the Ash Meadows development, the finance for which Cowgill Holloway also secured.

Paul Mathison, managing director, The Create Group said: “Create has a long and successful relationship with Stuart Stead and David Rainford at Cowgill Holloway.  Their sound market knowledge, experience, and advice has greatly benefitted us and it makes sense for us to extend our partnership with them.

“Our group continues to grow with Create Construction on site delivering several hotels including the Hampton by Hilton in Blackpool, while our development division is working across the country on student housing projects and we are always on the look-out for exciting sites for housing projects.”

In addition to the residential development at Inskip, Create is also delivering Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Blackpool and is on site with student housing schemes in Liverpool and Exeter.

Stuart Stead, head of property and construction, Cowgill Holloway said:  “Having helped secure funding for Create Developments through the expertise of David Rainford on two of its flagship residential schemes I am delighted we are expanding our relationship with Paul and his team.

“By providing our full range of advisory services to The Create Group we will help the business grow efficiently and effectively over the coming years.”
